When we switch our belts, in most cases, the the front clutch internally falls apart. Now don't really feel stressed, because it only takes two mins to fix it. Anytime a belt comes off, breaks or is being replaced, we need to realize with the belt gone, the the front clutch has no strain on it to remain intact, so they fall apart internally. With all this speak about clutches falling apart, we might throw up our hands and say "forget it, just acquire it to the shop". Well, don't. you may do this, it is easy. If you may switch a belt on a car, you may get it done on a scooter. All there is to do is the following:
Remove the cover plate (which has to come away from to change the belt anyways)
Unscrew/Unbolt the the front Clutch (takes one particular minute)
You will see inside Clutch that all of the rollers are all mixed up. merely separate the clutch and put the rollers back again within their slots (one minute). Poof... you might be done. That was easy.
A note of caution: You must maintain the clutch together while putting it back again in and keep strain on it so the rollers don't come loose while you might be putting the belt back again on.
See how easy that was? Scooters seem difficult. I felt the same way. I owned a scooter just before getting a repair store and was very intimidated. I took out the seat and observed all of the wires and hoses and determined it wasn't for me. After getting a repair store for just several months, I look back again now at how afraid I let myself become, when it wasn't necessary. These scooters are easy to fix now. Belts and Clutches are easy. I can do a repair in 15-minutes and send you in your way. confidence yourself, it is mostly just typical sense.
